QuoPull terms of use
QuoPull is a speculative onchain experiment. These terms explain what that means for you, what we do and do not promise, and the risks you accept by taking part. Please read them in full.
The short version
QuoPull is a speculative experiment. It is experimental software running on a public blockchain. You can lose everything you put in.
- Nothing here is an investment, a promise of profit, or financial, legal or tax advice.
- QPULL, Art Passes and QUOTRON can lose all of their value. There may be no one to sell to.
- Prize games are decided by chance and by code. Most packs and most tickets do not win.
- Blockchain transactions are final. We cannot reverse, refund or recover anything.
- We never hold your funds or your keys. You are responsible for your wallet and for what you sign.
- Smart contracts can have bugs, even after testing. Use only money you can afford to lose.
- You must be an adult, and QuoPull must be legal where you are. If prize games, lotteries or tokens like these are restricted where you live, do not use it.
These terms of use (the Terms) are a binding agreement between you and us. You accept them when you tick the acknowledgment box on this site, and by visiting this site, connecting a wallet, minting, trading, delegating, claiming or otherwise using QuoPull. If you do not accept them, do not use QuoPull.
What these Terms cover
In these Terms, we, us and our mean the people who build and operate QuoPull, and you means the person or entity using it.
These Terms cover this website and its pages, any interface we provide to the QuoPull smart contracts, our documentation, and our official channels (together, the Service). The smart contracts themselves are public software on Robinhood Chain. Anyone can interact with them directly, without this site.
Who can use QuoPull
- You are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and you can enter a binding agreement.
- You are not located in, and not a resident or citizen of, any place where using QuoPull, holding digital assets like these, or taking part in prize games of this kind is prohibited or requires a licence you do not have. We may list restricted places on this site; the list may not be complete, and it is your job to know your local law.
- You are not on any sanctions list and you are not acting for anyone who is, and you will not use tools such as VPNs to get around a restriction.
- You are responsible for following every law that applies to you, including laws on gambling, lotteries, sweepstakes, promotions, securities, commodities and taxes.
What QuoPull is
QuoPull is an onchain experiment on Robinhood Chain. It has four parts: the Art Pass, a fixed supply NFT; QPULL, a token that trades in one locked liquidity pool; a trade tax that funds three prize games (a daily pack raffle, a weekly holder draw and a weekly leaderboard); and QUOTRON, a separate token made by a third party, in which prizes are paid.
The rules of QuoPull are the smart contract code. This site and our documentation describe that code in plain language, but they can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. If the site and the contracts disagree, the contracts decide what happens.
A speculative experiment
- No expectation of profit. Do not mint, buy or hold anything here expecting to make money from our work or anyone else's. We make no promise about prices, value, liquidity, listings, returns or future features.
- No rights. QPULL gives you no ownership, equity, debt, dividend, revenue share, voting or governance right, and no claim on us or on any treasury. An Art Pass is a digital collectible that the contracts also use as a game entry. It is not a share in anything.
- Value can go to zero. Prices can fall fast and stay down, and the pool can be thin, especially at launch. You may be unable to sell at any price.
- No roadmap promise. Anything we say about plans is a current intention, not a commitment. We may change or stop our work at any time.
- Your decision. You take part because you want to try an experiment, knowing you can lose all of it. Never use money you need.
Prize games and chance
- Winners are picked by the contracts using public randomness from Drand and the rules in the code. We cannot choose, predict in advance or change winners.
- Winning is never guaranteed. The chance of winning depends on how many entries there are, and most entries do not win.
- Prizes are paid in QUOTRON, whose value changes. A prize can be worth much less when you claim it than when it was drawn.
- A draw can wait, be skipped or void, or roll its pot forward when the contract rules say so, for example when a pot is below its minimum or a draw is not run in its window. Prize pots are capped, and the rest carries forward.
- You must claim a prize yourself, within its claim window (currently 30 days). Unclaimed prizes return to the prize pot and are lost to you.
- Game rules such as ticket price, winners per day and pot limits can change within the limits set in the contracts. Some of the owner's changes take effect only after a delay.
- The prize games are part of a software experiment, not a regulated lottery, sweepstakes or gambling service. If taking part in games like these is restricted where you are, you must not take part.
Prices, tax and fees
- The mint. Art Passes cost the mint price shown in the contract. Proceeds split 80% to the liquidity pool, 10% to the prize seed and 10% to team + operations.
- Trade tax. Every QPULL trade in the pool pays a tax, taken in WETH: 4% on buys, and on sells a higher launch rate that steps down to 4% over the first 48 hours. The tax funds the prize games (80%) and team + operations (20%).
- Network fees. Every transaction costs gas, even one that fails, is cancelled by the contract or loses a race with another transaction.
- Your taxes. You are responsible for any tax on your activity, including on prizes, trades and mints.
Launch rules
- For the first hour after the pool opens, only wallets holding an Art Pass can buy, each buy is capped, and there is a short wait between buys. A wallet that buys in that hour cannot transfer its passes out until the hour ends.
- These limits are enforced by the contracts on the wallet that signs the transaction. A pass held in a different wallet, a vault or a smart contract wallet does not count, and purchases through relayers or smart contract wallets may be credited to someone else.
- The contracts can refuse a transaction for many reasons: a limit, a price move, a closed window, too little gas. A refused transaction still costs gas.
Your wallet, your responsibility
- QuoPull is self custody. We never hold, control or have access to your wallet, your keys or your assets.
- If you lose your keys, send assets to the wrong place or sign something harmful, no one can recover it. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed.
- Check every address and every transaction before you sign. Only use the official site, and verify contract addresses against our published list.
- Delegation uses delegate.xyz, a third party registry. A delegation lets the wallet you name act for yours in the ways that registry allows. Delegate only to wallets you control, and revoke delegations you no longer need.
- We will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Anyone who does is not us.
Technology risks
- Smart contracts. The contracts can contain bugs or be exploited. Testing reduces risk but does not remove it.
- Immutable code. Much of QuoPull cannot be changed or paused once deployed, including the locked liquidity, which no one can withdraw, including us. That also means problems may not be fixable.
- Randomness and keepers. Draws depend on Drand beacons being posted and on keeper software running. Delays or failures can delay, void or roll forward draws.
- The network. Robinhood Chain, its sequencer, RPC providers and bridges are run by third parties and can halt, reorder or censor transactions, or fail.
- Markets. Prices can move sharply. Other traders, including automated ones, can trade before or around you.
- The site. This site can be down, slow, show stale or wrong numbers, or be imitated by fake sites.
No advice, no custody
Nothing on the Service is investment, financial, legal, tax or other professional advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. We are not your broker, adviser, agent or fiduciary, and no fiduciary duty is created by your use of the Service. Talk to your own advisers before you take part.
Third party services
QuoPull depends on services we do not control, including Robinhood Chain, Uniswap v4, Drand, delegate.xyz, the QUOTRON contracts, wallet software, RPC providers and our hosting provider. Their terms and risks apply to you, and we are not responsible for them. Links to other sites are for convenience only.
Things you must not do
- Break any law, including sanctions, gambling, securities or anti money laundering laws.
- Attack, overload, scrape at harmful rates, or try to break the Service, the contracts or anyone's use of them.
- Exploit a bug, or knowingly profit from one, instead of reporting it to us.
- Manipulate markets or game results, or try to get around eligibility rules, launch limits or caps, for example with multiple wallets meant to evade them.
- Pretend to be us, or run a site, account or token that could be mistaken for ours.
Art and content
The site, its text, design, logo and the Art Pass artwork belong to us or our licensors. While you own an Art Pass, you may display its artwork for personal, non commercial purposes. Owning a pass does not give you any other right in the artwork or in our brand.
No warranties
The Service and the smart contracts are provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim every warranty, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non infringement, accuracy and uninterrupted or error free operation.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, tokens, NFTs, prizes, data or goodwill, arising from or related to the Service or the smart contracts, even if we were told such loss was possible.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to US$100.
Some places do not allow some of these limits. In those places, our liability is limited as far as the law allows.
Your responsibility to us
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless us and our contributors from claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of any law or anyone's rights.
Changes and ending access
We may update these Terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
We may change, suspend or stop the Service, or restrict access for anyone, at any time and for any reason. The smart contracts keep running on chain whether or not this site does.
Disputes
Any dispute about these Terms or the Service will be settled by binding arbitration, not in court, unless the law where you are does not allow that.
Each claim is brought on its own. You and we each give up any right to bring or join a class action or group claim, as far as the law allows.
General terms
These Terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours.
